Mission of Mercy Medical Center was honored to once again partner with the IRT Military Mission and Nueces County Operation Health & Wellness community event in July 2026. For more than five years, Mission of Mercy has participated in this annual no-cost event, helping connect individuals and families throughout the community with essential healthcare services and resources.
The 2026 event was open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis and provided a wide range of free services, including medical, vision, dental, and mental health care; back-to-school physicals; women’s exams; pharmacy services; reading glasses; single and bifocal prescription eyeglasses; immunizations and vaccines; diabetes screenings; veterinary services; transportation; and more.
We are grateful to the many partners, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations who came together to make this event possible and help improve access to care across the Coastal Bend.
