Mission of Mercy Arizona is proud to welcome David Hyland and Kelly Williams to the Arizona Health Partnership Fund board of directors. We also wish to thank long-time member, Andy Jacob, M.D., JD., who recently rolled off our board. Thank you for your many years of service to Mission of Mercy!
David Hyland
Senior Director, Strategic Accounts at IntraEdge
With a passion for relationship development and a deep appreciation for the impact of compassionate healthcare, David brings both professional expertise and personal insight to our mission of healing through Love.
David was introduced to Mission of Mercy through a fellow board member and friend, Nathan Hunnell of CenterWell Pharmacy. Their shared love of their wives who work together and also the Pittsburgh Steelers sparked more than game-day conversations — it led to David touring one of our clinics two years ago where he saw firsthand how Mission of Mercy changes lives. “You can have a million problems in your life,” David says, “but once you have a health problem, you have one problem.” That simple but powerful truth inspired him to get more involved.
As Senior Director at IntraEdge, a fast-growing technology services company, David wears a lot of hats with a focus on driving business development. His experience in tech and recruiting, combined with his wide network of connections, makes him a valuable asset to our board. “I was initially brought in to answer some technology questions,” he explains, “but I quickly realized I could do more, especially in raising awareness and helping Mission of Mercy connect with new audiences and donors.”
David is guided by a core belief in kindness and treating people well. “I don’t look for an immediate return when I’m making new connections,” he says. “I enjoy building new relationships and looking for ways to make a difference.”
Outside of work, David is a devoted husband and father to two young children, ages 6 and 8. He has gained a deeper appreciation for how crucial access to quality healthcare is through health challenges within his family. When he’s not traveling or playing golf with his wife, who recently picked up the sport, you’ll find David spending time with his family and living out his values every day.
We’re grateful to have David on our board and look forward to the energy, insight and heart he brings to Mission of Mercy.
Kelly Williams
Founder, Restorative Fitness
As the founder of Restorative Fitness, Kelly brings a deep passion for community health and a hands-on understanding of the real-world impact of access to care or the lack of it.
“The big picture is that Mission of Mercy’s work aligns with my personal mission,” Kelly says. “When someone can’t access basic care, it’s not just their health that suffers — it affects their family, their work and ultimately the resilience of the whole community.”
Kelly’s perspective is rooted in experience. During her time working with hard-working, blue-collar employees, she saw firsthand how treatable conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome worsened simply because individuals couldn’t afford the ongoing care, even with insurance. That real-life ripple effect left a lasting impression.
Through Restorative Fitness, located in midtown Phoenix, Kelly helps people recover their health so they can return to full, active lives, whether that means being able to go back to work, walk a 5K, or simply re-engage with their community. It’s a mission that closely mirrors Mission of Mercy’s commitment to healing through Love by providing free healthcare to the uninsured.
As a new board member, Kelly is eager to help amplify Mission of Mercy’s presence and build stronger ties with local businesses and organizations.
“Mission of Mercy has been here 25 years. They do amazing work and more people need to know about it,” she says. “My passion is in community advocacy and helping spread that message.”
When she’s not working or advocating for health equity, you can find Kelly outdoors paddleboarding, hiking, biking or kayaking. She also serves with the Midtown Neighborhood Association, further demonstrating her dedication to strengthening the fabric of her community.
We’re thrilled to have Kelly on board as we continue our mission to provide free, compassionate healthcare to those in need.
