Mission of Mercy: Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus Concerns

MOM's response to COVID-19

UPDATED 03/17/2020

As the situation rapidly unfolds, Mission of Mercy has released statements from our Board Chair and Chief Medical Director HERE.

During these unsettling times, Mission of Mercy wishes to recognize and extend our heartfelt appreciation to our volunteers, staff, church partners, hospital partners and donors for supporting us in the provision of free medical care and prescription medications to our patients.

UPDATED 03/15/2020

Until further notice, the Mission of Mercy Arizona program will implement “refill only” services at all of our clinic sites. Refills will be given from our medical RV without concurrent use of facility space. Utilizing core medical staff, we will be physically present at each of our regular clinic sites, on the regular days/times of operation, so that current
patients can receive their prescription medications. Unfortunately we are unable to take new patients or schedule patient examinations at this time.

In best interest of the safety and health of Mission of Mercy volunteers and patients, the medical leaders have determined this approach. We will not be utilizing volunteers at the clinic sites at this time.

As our medical leaders continue to gain additional information together from reputable sources such as the CDC and AZ Dept. of Health regarding COVID-19, further plans will be implemented.

Please stay tuned for further information.
