We are tremendously proud to congratulate Dr. Oliver Harper and his wife, Sharon Harper, on being named 2025 Arizona Historymakers by the Historical League Inc., which is associated with the Arizona Heritage Center at Papago Park. Their decades of leadership, service and community impact are truly inspiring.
We are especially grateful for Dr. Harper’s extraordinary commitment to Mission of Mercy. Since joining us in January 2013, he has volunteered nearly 2,000 hours of medical service — most recently serving regularly at our Avondale clinic.
Additionally, we are excited to share that Dr. Brad Smith, our longtime medical director, was recently honored as a Health Access Hero by DentaQuest, a Sun Life company. This national recognition celebrates leaders who are expanding access to care for underserved communities. As part of the award, Sun Life provided a $10,000 contribution to support our ongoing work. We are grateful for Dr. Smith’s steadfast dedication to our mission and the countless patients whose lives he impacts.
