Congratulations to Dr. William O’Brien for being named the 2019 Phoenix Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes Volunteer Award Winner!
Since the summer of 2001, he has been volunteering at our Mesa clinic regularly, increasing his commitment to once a week for the past three years since retiring from other medical obligations. He’s logged more than 2,500 volunteer hours with us!
Dr. O’Brien discovered Mission of Mercy through an article about our nonprofit in a medical publication. As a practicing Catholic, our mission of “healing through Love” resonated with him. We couldn’t be more proud of his dedication to the patients we serve – this is truly a well-deserved honor!
