Mission of Mercy provides free medical care to uninsured and uninsured.

Our Mission is: To restore dignity and “healing through Love” at mobile clinics, providing free healthcare and medications.

Our clinics provide compassionate care to the uninsured working poor who do not qualify for health assistance programs.  Additionally, we care for under-insured people who cannot afford their high deductibles, co-pays and/or prescriptions.

Through the years Mission of Mercy expanded: in 1995 we grew the Maryland program to include southern Pennsylvania; and in 1997, we began a program in Maricopa County, Arizona.  In 2007, a third program was added in Corpus Christi, Texas.

When hard times hit our nation, as they did during the recession that started in 2008-2009, we faced the daunting challenge of serving more patients even as funding for all nonprofits declined – sometimes precipitously!

Like many organizations, we were forced to cut staff and payrolls to minimize the negative affects to our patients.

But, with the recovering economy, lots of prayers, and prudent leadership and stewardship, we are rebuilding our programs and donor base.
