Mr. Eugene Bouligny

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of our dear friend and largest individual donor, Mr. Eugene Bouligny, on Friday, September 13.

Since 2012, Mr. Bouligny contributed over $1,110,000 to Mission of Mercy. His generosity extended far beyond financial support—he challenged us annually with his community giving, inspiring others to contribute to our mission. His quirky sense of humor and unique personality made every interaction with him truly memorable, and his commitment to improving lives in the Coastal Bend Community was unmatched.

Eugene was more than a donor—he was a partner in our work, a frequent attendee at our MASH BASH/CAMO & COUNTRY events, and a dear friend to many of us. His philanthropic spirit has had an immeasurable impact, and his legacy will live on through the thousands of people he helped through his kindness and generosity.
