Medical Center

Mission of Mercy continues to provide the highest level of free health care and assistance with medications for uninsured and underinsured patients in the Coastal Bend with our mobile medical clinic. The Mission of Mercy Medical Center is the next step in providing continued quality health care and convenience to our patients.

Thanks to our donors support, a state-of-the-art medical center will be built. The building will allow more patients to be seen and additional services to be offered.

The facility will include a clinic on the first floor with 8 triage rooms, 8 examination rooms, a waiting room for up to 100 patients, 3 offices, 1 registration area, and more.

The second floor will include administrative offices, 1 conference room, 1 work room, 1 large classroom, 1 kitchen and more.

The medical center will be built on Ayers Street located at Ayers and Baldwin which is next to the Wienerschnitzel Restaurant and across the street from Del Mar College’s Richardson Auditorium.

The Official Ground Breaking Ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.  During the event, everyone was updated on the construction timeline, head from key officials, turned the dirt and blessed the land!

Construction started on February 14, 2017 and will take 12 months weather dependent.  Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is tentatively set for early 2018.

Mission of Mercy relies on the generosity of individual donors, corporations, community groups, churches, and foundations to raise the revenue needed to provide our programs and services.  We do not receive any state or federal government funding.  We strive to build strong collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships with public and private agencies and community organizations who share our vision.
