This moving 28-minute documentary contrasts Mission of Mercy’s work in the 21st century with the 19th-century work of Clara Barton, the “angel of the battlefield” who demonstrated how one person could change the course of health care during the Civil War.

There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be provided.

This documentary was made in collaboration with the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and the generous support of The Delaplaine Foundation.

     Here’s how you Can make an Impact:

     $15 - One dental filling (includes three to five procedures)

     $20 - Diabetic medications for one patient visit

     $40 - Rescue inhaler for one patient with Asthma

     $60 - Medical care for one patient (physician visit, medications, lab & x-ray)

   $100 - Treatment for one patient with Arthritis using injectable steroids

   $250 - Care for a family of four (physician visits, medications, lab, & x-ray)

$1,000 - One patient visit per month, for a year
