FINANCIAL SUPPORT MISSION
 Another mission of MOM's Family is the Financial Support Mission. Members help either through direct financial contribution or by helping out with various fundraising events.

As great expectations for Mission of Mercy are being realized with the addition of mobile clinic sites and new programs, we are able to meet these goals through the generous support of our many donors. We do receive some grant monies, but much of our funding comes from private donors – individuals like you and me.
Helping with Fundraising
Several annual events have become “regulars” for Mission of Mercy, and members of MOM's Family provide much of the time and manpower that is necessary to make an event successful.
- Annual Gala 2008 - November, 2008 (donate auction item, attend, or volunteer to help)
- Annual Mother's Day 5k Run - 3k Family Walk (help out or run or walk) - May 10, 2008

You are invited to help with . . . .
- Charity Day at Brewer’s Alley, Frederick, Maryland – Just visit the restaurant, eat, and earn money for Mission of Mercy – always held on the first Tuesday of June
- Host a Dinner Party or Backyard Event for the benefit of Mission of Mercy. Charge guests the amount you feel appropriate as you entertain them in your home or backyard.
- Hold your own Flea Market, Bake Sale, Garage Sale or Picnic-in-the-Park with proceeds going to Mission of Mercy. We provide special items such as banners, brochures, and door prize to help with the day’s event.
- Donation Jar Project - If you know of a business that would accept a donation jar, and if you would be willing to manage the jar in that location, please contact the Mission of Mercy office. (Volunteers usually visit and collect donations every two weeks or so, and then forward a check to the Mission of Mercy office each month.)
